Painting workshop in Sicily

Join Sicilian painter Santo Previtera for a week of painting, slowing down, and reconnecting with the natural world through art. Surrounded by the unique atmosphere of Sicily;  its volcanic landscapes, luminous skies, ancient villages, and Mediterranean light. This workshop offers a chance to step away from daily pressures and dedicate yourself fully to seeing, feeling, and painting. Santo’s teaching draws on his deep connection to the Sicilian landscape and his distinctive sensitivity to colour, atmosphere, and gesture.

 

Whether you work in oils, watercolour, or drawing media, the week is designed to support both focused artistic development and genuine restoration. Our aim is to offer you the time and space to fully unwind and concentrate on your work.

 

Days will unfold at a gentle and nourishing pace, with painting sessions, shared meals, and time to absorb the beauty of the surroundings. Non-painting partners are also warmly welcome, with plenty to enjoy, from local walks, food, and nearby cultural sites to simply resting in the Sicilian sun.
